St James St Library Campaign

walthamstow needs art and culture!

It seems that the council is cutting arts and culture funding left, right and centre (whilst spending lots on important things like fish tanks!).

The threat to the William Morris gallery is perhaps well known. But did you know the Forest Philharmonic is also under threat, as the council have increased the cost of their rehearsal space? In fact, the overall lack of cultural spaces in the borough is a big problem, and yet another good reason why they should re-open St James St library, which was the only community space in this forgotten part of the borough.
