Questions over Head of Libraries appointment

Those of you who were at the West Walthamstow Community Council would have seen Clive Morton refuse to answer questions about the appointment of Lorna Lee as head of libraries, without having his lawyers present!

And what was Lorna Lee’s qualification for this promotion? Her three years in charge of the museum and gallery saw them reduced to part-time opening with a handful of staff, and a real prospect of losing the famous William Morris collection in sight. Now she’s in charge of libraries as well. We’re all doomed…..
